Grande Pines Area Info PDF Print E-mail
Someone once said "the Sandhills of North Carolina are as much a state of mind as a place."

Grande Pines is in the region known as the Sandhills. Located about 60 miles south of Raleigh and 30 miles east of Fayetteville, the Sandhills is notable for its retirement, recreational, and health economy. Some small, clean industries, small farms, and a community college complement these three major economies.

The golf is practically endless here in the Sandhills with more than 50 courses within a 50 mile radius.  There is also a large equestrian community and even a world renowned horse park nearby.  Plus our central geographical position in the state puts us within easy driving distance to Charlotte, Fayetteville, and the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill triangle. Or, a drive of a few hours can lead west to the Appalachian Mountains or east to the Atlantic seashore.
